ABOUT THE STORE
Who We Are
Scooter's Records began in early 2017 selling records as a pop-up shop beginning with Mississippi State's Old Main Festival. From there we continued doing pop up sales at various venues such as Rick's Cafe, Backstage Music, and the Cotton District's Sunday Funday events. In October 2017 we secured our location at 519 University Drive conveniently positioned between the downtown area and the Cotton District of Starkville, Ms. November 15, 2017 was opening day. Scooter's Records specializes in Vintage and used vinyl, New and re-issue releases, as well as Audio Technica turntables, Edifier speakers, incense, posters, and shop t-shirts and caps. We love to buy vinyl records in very good or better condition. We're especially interested in rock, punk rock, new wave, hip-hop, soul/R&B, country, jazz, blues, reggae, exotica, heavy metal, international, rockabilly, psych-rock, prog-rock, imports and recent vinyl releases of all types. We buy 33s and 45s, no 78s.
